I was at a point in my writing where I was getting sort of sick of writing about my own life.

So I imagined myself as this 40-year-old man who decides that he needs to leave his wife to go find himself.
The whole story is like a letter to his wife, who I named Ana.
I think I was trying to say that if you really love somebody then you will work on yourself.
Because if you love somebody then you know that they deserve the best.

だから、妻の元を離れて自分探しの旅に出たい40歳の男性になったつもりで書いてみたの。
アナっていう名前の妻に向けて書かれた手紙の内容のような感じよ。
私が言いたかったのは、誰かを本当に愛しているならこそ、自分磨きする必要があるってこと。
だって誰かを愛しているなら、その人を最高に幸せにしてあげるべきでしょ。
